Magnetic Arithmetic Donut (Single)

Our delicious donuts are a hands-on, open-ended maths tool designed to bring number work to life on your classroom whiteboard. Bright, engaging and built for real classroom use, they support everything from early counting to more complex operations!

Whether you're teaching beginning learners or extending confident learners, they adapt with ease, making maths interactive, visible and easy to explore across independent tasks, partner challenges or whole class activities.

Ideas for Use:

• One-to-one correspondence using counters/loose parts/other magnets.
• Build addition/subtraction/multiplication fact fluency. Simply change the centre number and operation e.g. 7- or 2x and complete like a regular number wheel.
• Number bonds e.g. make 10, 20 or beyond.
• “What’s My Number?” Students follow a sequence of operations from a starting number e.g. "start at 12, subtract 2, divide by 2" etc. Where do they end up?
• 1-12 number Bingo! Roll 2 dice, add together and cover the number on the donut. The first to cover all spaces wins!
• Daily donut check-in on the whiteboard. Allow students to rate their confidence or wellbeing by marking how they feel around the donut. Where's everyone landing? Any outliers?
